Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. Whether you’re navigating something specific or carrying a more general sense that something isn’t quite right, therapy offers a space where you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, with a particular focus on supporting those who may feel unseen, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that are hard to shift alone. My approach is thoughtful, affirming, and grounded in a genuine curiosity about your unique experience.
Specialties & Areas of Focus
-
Your identity deserves to be met with respect, understanding, and care. I provide an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to explore identity, relationships, and life experiences without fear of judgment. Whether you’re navigating coming out, relationship dynamics, family concerns, or simply looking for a place where you can fully be yourself, our work together centers on helping you feel seen, supported, and understood.
-
Living with ongoing depression or anxiety can feel exhausting—like you’re carrying something heavy that others may not fully see. Together, we take the time to understand not just the symptoms, but the deeper emotional patterns and experiences beneath them. This work isn’t about quick fixes, but about creating lasting shifts that help you feel more connected, more engaged, and more at ease in your daily life.

Relationships can be one of the most meaningful—and most challenging—parts of life. If you find yourself stuck in recurring conflicts, struggling with communication, or feeling disconnected from others, therapy offers a space to better understand these patterns. We’ll explore how past and present experiences shape the way you relate, opening the door to more fulfilling and authentic connections. My work also focuses heavily on attachment styles and their role in relational conflict.

Traumatic experiences can leave a lasting impact, whether they stem from military service or civilian life. I work with both active duty service members and civilians to process these experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Together, we create space to understand how trauma has affected you while also supporting your capacity to regain a sense of stability, control, and trust in yourself and others. I had the privilege of launching the first PTSD Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for active duty service members serving in the Indo-Pacific region, treating patients with combat, childhood, and sexual trauma. I also have extensive experience working one-on-one with individuals with complex trauma regain their sense of self or discover it for the first time. description

Psychoanalytic treatment is a deeper, more exploratory way of understanding yourself—one that goes beyond managing symptoms and looks at the underlying patterns shaping your inner world. Rather than focusing only on what’s happening on the surface, this work pays close attention to recurring themes in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and even the way you experience our work together.
In this space, nothing is too small or insignificant. Thoughts, memories, and feelings—whether clear or difficult to put into words—are all meaningful. Over time, patterns that may have felt automatic or confusing begin to come into focus, offering you a new level of self-awareness and choice.
This approach can be especially helpful if you’ve found that certain struggles keep repeating despite your efforts, or if you’re seeking a deeper, more lasting kind of change. Psychoanalytic treatment is not about being “fixed,” but about coming to know yourself in a fuller, more compassionate way—creating the possibility for meaningful and enduring transformation.
No matter what brings you here, the goal is the same:
To help you feel more like yourself, more connected in your relationships, and more able to move through life with a greater sense of clarity and ease.
I am honored to walk alongside you on this journey.
